Non fungible tokens (NFTs) have not only developed into the most popular collector's item among cryptocurrency enthusiasts across the globe, but have clearly also become a mainstream movement after the Artist Beeple's JPG image with the title "Everydays — The First 5000 Days" was sold at Christie's for $69 million in March 2021.
Since the beginning of 2021, several thousand new NFT projects have been published and offered for sale on platforms such as Opensea and Rarible every day, if not every hour.As a result, those NFT trading platforms have become very crowded over time. In particular, there is no overview anymore about which upcoming NFT projects will be published in the near future (drop date / mint date).We, a young team of highly motivated web developers, want to create a user-friendly solution for this and connect artists and collectors of digital art and NFTs.
With NFTPilot.io we have created a platform which is currently comprising three essential elements:
1. A project gallery where artists are able to present digital image, animation, video and audio creations for free
Creatives can upload their works of art, promote their NFTs and present them with relevant key data (scope of the collection, marketplace, Twitter and Discord links, and much more). Collectors can search this area and filter by categories, tags and other features using a powerful user interface. Specifically, they can easily see all listed upcoming NFT drops.
2. A community area where artists and collectors can meet and exchange ideas
The community area brings like-minded people together and, in addition to sharing images, news, articles and links on a social media-like timeline, also includes the option of chatting directly with other users via a messenger. Users also have the option of creating groups and thus discussing specific topics with one another.Users are able like, dislike and comment the content pisted by others. A friend-feature allows to directly connect with others seamlessly.A separate forum-like website area is in development but not fully deployed yet.
3. A NFT Drop Alert newsletter
The third major component of the site is an almost weekly newsletter that showcases the best upcoming NFTs to an ever-growing audience.The email newsletter also contains featured artists and new developments in the NFT space in general.
